My high powered ceiling fan is equipped with a rain sensor. Why won't my vent fully open when a Maxxair Cover is installed over it?

All MaxxAir Vent Covers are the same height. All automatic opening high powered ceiling fans have a current sensing circuit that senses when the lid has hit an obstruction or reached the end of its travel and shuts off the lifting motor to avoid any damage. The small amount that the lid does not fully open has a negligible affect on the airflow. It is safe to put a MaxxAir cover over your high powered ceiling fan.
