- I only have a 2" clearance from the back of my vent to the back edge of my camper top. Will the Maxxair II overhang if mounted as directed?

The rear of the MaxxAir II vent cover overhangs approximately 6 inches from the vertical wall of the roof vent when the brackets are mounted centered on the roof vent. The rear of the Standard MaxxAir vent cover overhangs approximately 2.5 inches from the vertical wall of the roof vent when the brackets are mounted centered on the roof vent. The vent covers can only be moved about 1 inch forward or backward on the roof vent.
